Our Community Calendar is the one stop source for all event information!

It's easy and free.

Need information about what's happening in the county? Planning an event and need to choose a date that doesn't compete for the same audience? Want to spread the word about your event? Then you've come to the right place...The Place To Go To Know What's IN!

Looking for something to do?  Use our search feature to find something specific or browse through the Events Calendar to check what's happening around town. You can look at all events in the calendar or select a specific category to view. Just click on a category icon above to view only the type of events in which you are interested. As you scroll over events, the expanded version of the post pops up.  You can also click to open a printer-friendly version of the event in case it includes coupons, flyers, etc.

Use the form in the Add Event section to have your event included in the calendar. It's free and easy! You can post an event up to three years in advance.

If you have a picture from a community event that you would like to add to Heard And Seen, please send it to us at

INHeard.com provides the Community Calendar as a public service to provide information about events, attractions, meetings, etc. that are being held throughout the area.

Once information has been submitted, checked and approved, the event should be posted within 2 to 3 days. INHeard.com reserves the right to determine what events shall and shall not be placed on the Community Calendar. How To

Post An Event

Scroll to the date of your event.  Click on the plus sign which appears on the right side of every date.  You may also click on ADD NEW EVENT at the bottom of the page.  Complete the pop-up form.  Be sure to use desciptive keywords in your full description and to include a category so that viewers can more easily find your event.  Keep your title brief so that it fits on the calendar row.  You cannot edit an event after you save it so please type carefully.  Viewers can scroll over your event to see your description.  Viewers can click on your event to open up the full text and to print out the information.  You may include a website address to direct viewers to a site for more information.  Absolutely NO improper or pornographic material will be allowed onto the calendar.  INHeard reserves the right to edit content for length, grammar and appropriateness and to deny any ad deemed inappropriate in its sole discretion.  This site is intended for use by all ages and will be carefully monitored.

How To

Find Events

Try using the Categories drop down list.  Categories include government, civic, public agencies, business, sports, schools, etc. An example of using categories goes like this:  if an elementary school is having a fundraiser but you can't remember which school, just click on Schools.  The calendar immediately shows only SCHOOL functions, eliminating the clutter to make finding the event easier.

How To

Search

Click on Search on the bottom of the calendar page.  Type in keywords, for example, 'Tigers' if you're searching for all posted Tigers baseball games.  Quotation marks are not necessary.

How To

Delete An Event

To delete a canceled event, you must contact INHeard.com by email to request the event be removed.  Click on Contact Us above and tell us the event to remove.  Put DELETE EVENT as your subject.  You must provide your complete contact information in order to remove an event.
